Molting Mexican Red Rump

Hi,


how long does it take an adult tarantula to molt?

And what does it do before it actually starts crawling out?

Mine has been sitting very still for the last two days now, and the top of its front is discolouring, but nothing else is happening.

I am not sure if it is dying or molting, and don't really want to disturb it in case it is the latter.

Please help.
